Privacy Policy

DoneYet? Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 1, 2026

Overview

DoneYet? is an offline-first task and reminder app. It is designed so that your task data stays on your device and the app remains usable without creating an account or connecting to a remote server.

What information the app uses

DoneYet? may store the following information on your device so the app can work:

  • Task titles, list names, task status, reminder dates, snooze dates, and completion history.
  • App preferences such as language, theme, sound settings, vibration settings, and default reminder settings.
  • Local notification identifiers needed to schedule, update, and cancel reminders.
  • Backup data only when you choose to export or import your data.

How your information is used

  • To show your lists, tasks, reminder schedule, and completed items inside the app.
  • To schedule local notifications on your device until a task is marked done, paused, or changed.
  • To restore your data if you choose to import a backup.
  • To keep your app preferences consistent on the same device.

Where data is stored

DoneYet? stores app data locally on your device using on-device storage. The app does not require a user account, does not run a cloud sync service, and does not upload your task data to a developer-operated server as part of normal use.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, DoneYet? uses the notification permission provided by iOS or Android to schedule reminders on your device. Notification content is used only to display your task reminders locally.

Backups and sharing

DoneYet? includes export and import tools so you can back up or restore your data. When you export a backup, you decide where that file or text is sent or saved. If you share or upload an exported backup using another service, that third-party service handles the data under its own privacy practices.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

DoneYet? does not use third-party advertising SDKs, does not use developer-run analytics to profile you, and does not track you across apps or websites.

Data retention and deletion

Your data remains on your device until you edit it, delete it, replace it with an imported backup, or remove the app from your device. You can also delete individual tasks and lists from inside the app.

Children's privacy

DoneYet? is a general productivity app and is not specifically directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated backend service.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The latest version should always be published on the current privacy policy page for DoneYet?.
